Great question! My favorite Christmas song is "If Santa Were My Daddy" by the Osmond Family. The lyrics go, "If Santa were my Daddy I'd be good every single day of the year. I betcha think I couldn't Yeah I could!...." Love singing it loud.

Embarrassingly it is Wham's "Last Christmas." (I was a HUGE Wham! fan back in the day...) And my least favorite song (I am SO dating myself here) is "Do They Know Its Christmastime at All?" by Band Aid. ALL versions. I have written blog entries on how much I can't stand that song. Now that I think about it, that probably gives it far more attention than it deserves.... sigh.

Oh that is an adorable apron you are wearing.
Hands down my absolute favorite Christmas song is "O Holy Night". I just love that song. I used to play all the songs on my piano much more than I do now and all three of my children when they were little LOVED sitting with Mommy to help me sing them all. I can still remember how much fun it was to watch them sing this song with me because they were so animated in singing the OOOOOOOOOHhhhhhh Holy Night part. LOL Brings back wonderful memories of my children when they were little. They are all over 21 yrs old now so they've all lost that childhood innocence that's just so adorable during the holidys.

Man...I don't have a fave, because I love them all. My newest song obsession is 'A Baby Changes Everything' by Faith Hill. I've heard another Mary-perspective song this year that I haven't heard before, but I was never able to find out who the artist was. Mama Mary songs about the thrill and joy and heartache are my favorite favorites!

Oh Holy Night gives me shivers when the right person sings it. :) I went to college with a guy who did an unaccompanied version that was ASTOUNDING. But recently I got the new CD from Sarah Groves and her song "To be with You" is amazing, and this season has really helped me get in the Christmas spirit and ignore the people who are grumpy. :)
Because there are so many goodies, I pick a new favorite Christmas song every year! This year it has to be "There's no place like home for the holidays" since this is my first Christmas season away from my family :(
