Summer is definitely my favorite time of year. I love to curl up under a tree, lay out at the pool or laze on the beach with a good book, it just seems like the thing to do.
This year I need some new reads,my all time favorite easy reading book and what I class as a perfect Summer read is this it is one of the very few books that has really touched me, it has made me laugh out loud, as well as shed a few tears. I've read it every Summer now for the last 9 years and I think it's time for a change.
So now that I've shared my favorite read with you, help me out and tell me what your, favorite Summer read is. Nothing too thought provoking now, this is one of the few times I let my brain rest up.

I have quite a few picks for summer reads. I also have some other recommendations, but they have some deeper themes. Let me know if you want them.
This one reminded me a little of Ya Ya: http://www.amazon.com/Housewives-Eating-Ballantine-Readers-Circle/dp/0345442822
Anything by Jennifer Weiner is a fun, light read. My favorite is this one: http://www.amazon.com/Little-Earthquakes-Jennifer-Weiner/dp/1416528636/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1211666621&sr=1-1
And V might like to read this one when you are done. It is told through the eyes of a teenage girl: http://www.amazon.com/Center-Everything-Novel-Laura-Moriarty/dp/0786888458/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1211666927&sr=1-1
I am starting on "The Last Lecture" and am looking forward to it. If you haven't heard his lecture, you really need to: http://www.cmu.edu/uls/journeys/randy-pausch/index.html
